You may book tickets for the following options:

Option 1: Roundtables for Students -- ** NOW FULLY BOOKED **

Following the panel talks, students will have a chance to meet a number of engineers (both male and female) in a series of round table discussions. Students can interact with the engineers and ask direct questions one-on-one. Topics for discussion will include what subjects are needed to study engineering, what college life is like for engineering students, the kind of jobs that engineers can apply for, and details of the various engineering disciplines.

You may book up to 14 places (two tables) per school. Each student must have an interest in maths and/or science.

Please note: A photo consent form must be completed for each student attending the event.

Option 2: Roundtables for Teachers and Career Guidance Counsellors - Tickets still available

Following the panel talks, teachers, career guidance counsellors and parents interested in speaking with engineers from companies and third level institutes are invited to attend a parallel roundtable session in the Poddle Room. Note: This session will take place while students are engaged in roundtable talks in the Main Hall, so it is only suitable for teachers, parents and career guidance counsellors who are not required to supervise students during the event.

At this session you will find out more about what students need in order to study engineering, as well as the opportunities open to them upon graduation. There are places available for 50 teachers, career guidance counsellors and parents to meet engineers and educators from the following organisations: Smart Futures, Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, Arup, ESB, IBM, Waterford Institute of Technology, Dublin Institute of Technology, Trinity College Dublin, IADT, Dun Laoghaire, Engineers Ireland and Lero (the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre).

A sandwich lunch will be provided for all attendees.
