How to apply
Before you start, please check all programme info: dates; number of days; disciplines available; fees etc. of your chosen programme here before making your selection.

You will be invited to make a first and second choice. If you are unsuccessful in your first choice, you will automatically be considered for your second choice should any places be available after the first round of offers.

You need to provide contact details (email address/phone number) for both your Guardian and your TY Coordinator before you proceed.

1. Keep a record of your login details - username and password -these will be needed at a later stage if your application has been successful.
2. Check your emails regularly to keep up to date on notifications.
3. Note the timeline and deadline dates below

*First Round Offers made –  (we will contact you via email to let you know if your application has been successful).

*Deadline to accept offer: Forms, Guardian Consent and Payment of fees:

IT Sligo: May 10th
NUI Galway: May 24th
(This will all be done by logging in through your online portal. Full instructions will be sent in offer email in May).

Please complete the below steps to apply for Engineering Your Future 2019:

1. Click here to apply  ** Please check which applications remain open at **

2. Create your login and password
Validate your email address (you must go to your email account and click on the email to confirm your details).
Log back into Apply, using your login and password.
Complete application form.
Click ‘Mark as Complete’ to submit
Check form again click ‘review & submit’
Click ‘Submit your application’
You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been submitted.

We will contact all applicants via email to let you know if you have been successful.


  • All programmes will take place during business hours. 
  • There are no evening events.
  • All students are responsible for their transportation to and from the programme.
  • There are no overnight events and no accommodation included in the programme.
